I'm a member of the Senior Research Staff at Tableau Research in Seattle, WA. My research is at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. Specifically, drawing upon techniques from multimodal (e.g., speech and touch) and mixed-initiative user interfaces, I design expressive and intelligent visualization tools for human-data interaction.
